What is Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities?
Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities is a fundraising matching program utilizing the excitement around the Valspar Championship to assist Tampa Bay area non-profits in raising awareness and funds to support their missions.
Through the Birdies program, non-profits receive 100% of the amount gifted by donors and 15% matching contributions courtesy of Copperhead Charities.​
OUR WHY
Through the Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities program, Copperhead Charities aims to grow charitable contributions, expand the number of benefiting partners, engage a wider cross-section of the community, and increase awareness of the organizations supported by the tournament.
WHY SHOULD NON-PROFITS PARTICIPATE & HOW TO JOIN?
Using the enthusiasm around a professional golf tournament, Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities works to generate grassroots funding for participating non-profit organizations.

Through the Birdies program, non-profits receive 100% of the amount gifted by their donors and a 15% matching contribution courtesy of Copperhead Charities' Bonus Fund!

Organizations who generate $500 or more, also qualify to receive ten (10) Grounds Tickets to the first round of the 2026 Valspar Championship on Thursday, March 19.

To participate, interested non-profits must verify that they are publicly supported and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization by completing the commitment form.​
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE AS A DONOR?
Donors who give $20 or more will have the chance to "Guess the Birdies" - predicting how many birdies PGA TOUR players will make during the 2026 Valspar Championship.

Did you know? Donors who "guess the birdies" are automatically entered to win two (2) First-Class Delta Air Lines Travel Vouchers and two (2) 2027 Thursday-Sunday DEX DECK hospitality tickets!
