Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth FoundationThe Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation is the principal operator of two educational programs: the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy and First Tee – Clearwater, as well as two public businesses: the Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club and Chi Chi Rodriguez Driving Range. The target group for Foundation’s activities is children ranging in ages from 7 to 17. We currently serve more than 3,600 children in our programs. Up to one hundred and eight (108) of those are students that attend the Chi Chi Academy, a privately supported public school in partnership with the Pinellas County School Board for students who have been identified as at risk of dropping out of school. First Tee - Clearwater is one of three Tampa Bay area chapters and serves over 3,600 participants. Life Skills Experience programs are offered in seven local elementary schools, as well as at the Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club and Chi Chi Rodriguez Driving Range. At First Tee – Clearwater, we’re Building Game Changers by empowering kids and teens to be the best version of themselves. Children's Dream FundThe Children’s Dream Fund makes dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses living throughout West Central Florida. From puppies to playgrounds, special trips to meetings with celebrities, we help every child referred to us by area hospitals. Dreams vary as much as the personalities of the children we serve. They may involve meeting a celebrity, a trip, a gift such as a computer or playground, or our most-requested dream, a week at the Give Kids the World Village, which enables a child to visit all of the Orlando-area theme parks. The Children’s Dream Fund is not affiliated with a national organization. We do not telemarket to raise funds. Since its inception in 1981, the Children’s Dream Fund has made dreams come true for over 4,000 children. According to our most recent audited financial report, 87% of all expenses go to make children’s dreams come true. Over 50% of all dream costs are covered by in-kind donations. Children's Home NetworkChildren’s Home Network is dedicated to improving lives and changing life stories. We unlock the potential of at-risk children and families by providing compassionate and effective services that create opportunities for success. Children’s Home Network is most known for our therapeutic residential program for foster kids (“Kids Village”), which has been operating in Tampa since 1892. In addition, we are a licensing agency for traditional and relative (“Kinship”) foster families in Hillsborough County and other parts of Tampa Bay. Coffee Uniting PeopleCUP (Coffee Uniting People) is Tampa’s first inclusive coffeehouse chain, employing and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA)CASA is the official domestic violence center for Pinellas County and has provided lifesaving services to women, children, and men living with domestic violence for over 40 years. Our free services include a 100 bed emergency shelter with a kennel, Community Education, Emergency hot-line, Peacemaker program, a Family Justice Center which offers a "one-stop shop" for survivors to meet with an advocate and connect with 11+ on-site resources including Law Enforcement, Medical Services, Criminal & Civil Legal Services, Mental Health Services, Childcare on-site, 7 Housing Programs, Juvenile Welfare Board and more. Corinne's Food PantryOur Mission is to implement and further the accomplishments of a special nurse by providing food and basic personal care items to those in need. We are a small food pantry that works together with community organizations and churches throughout Pinellas County. Although being small in comparison to other food pantries, we believe a significant impact is made in helping those less fortunate. Cove Behavioral HealthCove Behavioral Health supports our community’s overall wellness by providing accessible and compassionate behavioral health care. Cove is committed to excellence in behavioral health care and to building a shared vision of hope for a healthier community. Our vocational rehabilitation and workforce program is progressing towards placing 33% of our students in meaningful employment or internships, providing them with the skills necessary for independent living. Since our founding, we have grown to serve 30 students annually, with 50% coming from low-income families. Good NeighborsGood Neighbors serves food to more than 15,000 individuals each month, distributing 3.25 million meals-worth of food annually, in the Tampa Bay area region of Florida, including Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, and Sarasota Counties. The organization picks up surplus food from nearly 200 supermarkets, restaurants, and other food retailers and distributes that food to low-income children and families, in-need seniors, unhoused populations and provides food to nearly 100 local nonprofit partners to support their food programs. In 2024, the disastrous impact of 2024 hurricanes on the Tampa Bay area prompted Good Neighbors to develop targeted programming dedicated to relief efforts related to the hurricanes’ impact on food insecurity, and also to develop programming that enables the organization to build the area’s resilience to future hurricanes, ensuring systems and resources are in place to offer quick and coordinated responses to addressing emergency food needs. These Houses are strategically located near hospitals and medical facilities and offer a comfortable and supportive environment for families to stay while their child is undergoing treatment. In addition to the Ronald McDonald House program, RMHC operates Ronald McDonald House Day Use. These are spaces within hospitals that provide respite and support to Pinellas families just steps away from their child's bedside. Day Use offers a comfortable environment where parents can rest, shower, and have a meal, while still being close to their child's medical team. Stay In Step Brain & Spinal Cord Injury Recovery CenterStay In Step Brain and Spinal Cord Recovery Center (SIS) is a veteran-founded nonprofit organization. In 2008, during a combat operation in Afghanistan, decorated Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer Romulo “Romy” Camargo sustained a gunshot wound that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Romy’s journey to recovery included countless surgeries and rehabilitation appointments, inspiring the organization’s creation. Since then, the center has grown and added more services to aid in rehabilitating its clients. Stay In Step offers a unique long-term outpatient rehabilitation facility that specializes in providing activity-based exercise programs to individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), stroke, and/or other neurological disorders causing paralysis. SIS stands out above the rest for its supportive, family-like atmosphere. The dedicated staff at SIS has put in effort to establish a motivating setting, incorporating advanced therapeutic techniques and innovative approaches to inspire clients. The primary goal is to enhance their functionality and overall quality of life. Our mission is to provide a STEP forward to recovery through long-term rehabilitative care, treatment, and hope to all our clients (veterans & civilians) whose lives have been impacted by a spinal cord, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and/or any other neurological disorder. We seek to create a motivating, nurturing, faith-centered environment where our clients and their families can learn how to overcome limitations and navigate their challenges together. With the support of generous donors and compassionate volunteers, we transform houses into homes - spreading love, inspiring hope and creating a pathway to new beginnings. Since The Pineapple Projects began in 2020, we've been blessed to help 124 local families. The impact of living in an under-furnished home takes an emotional and physical toll on adults and children.
